I recently stayed at The Bookstore Family Apartment for a week-long getaway. The apartment was equipped with an impressive collection of kitchen utensils and offered a wide selection of board games and books. It felt like a home away from home, with so much to discover on the shelves. One of the highlights was the breakfast served by a real Viking in RAM Iceland. Such a unique experience! I loved everything about this place.
Totally recommend this hotel.

We loved the cozy ambiance of the apartment, with its 80's inspired decor and cool library. the beds were comfortable and the apartment had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the self check-in process was convenient, thanks to the safe key box. the apartment's central location was perfect for exploring both the north and south coasts of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. We also appreciated the included washing machine for doing laundry. a lovely place with a touch of history. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 👌.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bookstore Family Apartment! The cozy and stylish decor made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the abundance of books added a unique touch. The warm and comfortable atmosphere made us want to stay longer. Plus, the Viking breakfast served by a real Viking was a memorable experience! we highly recommend this apartment.
Although the apartment was amazing, we did notice a few minor issues. The shower was a bit small, and we would have appreciated some storage space for our shampoo and soap.

The check-in instructions were easy to follow via email. The retro interior and comfy sofas added to the charming ambiance. The apartment's theme as an old bookstore was well-executed. The bed provided a restful sleep and the apartment was equipped for budget cooking. The location, unfortunately, was affected by fog. 😊

The location of the hotel is in a very quite area on the peninsula, making it a peaceful and relaxing stay. It is also conveniently close to several places to eat. The room was spacious with everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer. The bathroom was small but sufficient. The service was friendly and checking in was smooth.
The kitchen could benefit from more storage shelves and better cooking utensils.
